We are seeking a Data Engineer to work in a fast-paced and fun environment in our Murray, UT office.
Ideal candidates must be enthused about writing SQL, data problem solving and build data pipelines and reports. They must be a quick learner and be self-starting. The role will require extensive hands-on experience with the SQL language, demonstrated understanding and experience with troubleshooting and fixing data issues, provisioning data pipelines and reports.

Responsibilities
- Write SQL to validate quality and clean existing data
- Provision, optimize and maintain data feeds to external systems
- Become a subject matter expert in loan underwriting, credit and risk related data
- Build out automated checks for data quality
- Contribute to the success of the data warehouse by improving the standards of data integrity
- Help analytics team and business users in querying and understanding the Data Warehouse
- Investigate all data issues that pertain to the sale of loans and investor reporting
- Act as go-to resource for Capital Markets team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience along with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience writing SQL against different database platforms
- Demonstrated skills and experience in finding, investigating, and resolving data quality issues
- Demonstrated skills and experience in building data feeds and business reports
- Self-motivated
- Ability to bring new ideas and promote process improvement
Preferred Experience
- Experience with reporting systems such as Tableau.
- Understanding of Data Warehouses and ETL
- Knowledge of Python
