People Experience (HR) Business Partner

You will bring a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in human resources to help design, build, and deliver solutions to optimize our team’s efficiency and effectiveness. This position is responsible for the day-to-day HR activities and functions as well as onboarding, HRIS, benefits, audit reporting, employee leaves and accommodations, training, and risk & compliance. What you’ll get to do…
• Manage and execute the day-to-day operations for all things related to employee benefits, leaves of absence, and foundational People processes including (but not limited to) employee support, audits, policy creation and updates, status change requests, and PIP administration
• Develop and execute coaching, training, and general support systems for managers and team members
• Foster an inclusive culture and drive the creation and implementation of best practices to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and recruiting process.
• Document, maintain, and communicate core HR processes to stakeholders, managers, and employees
• Proactively seek to ensure that we are compliant in our policies and practices – both in general and specifically regarding federal, state, and local labor laws
• Provide Employee Relations expertise including conducting investigations
• Support the People Operations team with documentation and paperwork in regards to benefits, policies, leaves, etc.
• Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging HR systems to automate and eliminate manual work where possible
• Prepare all necessary termination paperwork and ensure exit surveys are conducted for departures
• Develop benchmarks and metrics for strategic initiatives and organizational goals that help advance diversity and inclusion within the organization
• Assist in developing OKRs, Metrics, and company-wide performance management systems
• Create and present strategic planning initiatives as well as organization structure design
• Oversee preparation, organization, and maintenance of job descriptions, job classifications, and role success frameworks
• Deliver innovative and scalable ideas to support employee inquiries
• Maintain Human Resource Information System records
You’ll do it using your…
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience developing scalable HR operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or your PHR/SHRM-CP
• Extensive knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including EEOC, FMLA, LOA, ADA, HB1 Visas, employee relations and investigations, and employment law at the federal, state, and local levels
• Experience with HRIS applications, specifically Workday
• Strong emotional intelligence, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience building out company-wide performance metrics, OKRs, and career pathing
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information and show reason and compassion in interactions
• Experience growing diversity, and fostering equity and inclusion
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and deliver coaching, training, and presentations
